Over 80 electric vehicles to test drive, visitors enchanted

April 28th, 2017 – Taking place in Montreal last weekend, the Branchez-Vous 2017 event – by the Innovative Vehicle Institute (IVI) – made it possible for approximately one thousand people to learn more about the advantages of electric vehicles. .

For this fifth edition, held at the Clock Tower Quay in the Old Port of Montréal, consumers were able to test drive 80 plug-in vehicles, including 15 different models. A unique opportunity to compare, in the same location, all electric vehicle (EV) models available in Québec, while in the company of field experts and experienced users.

Several novelties were presented, including the 2017 Ford Focus Electric, the Toyota Prius Prime, the KIA Optima PHEV and the highly coveted Chevrolet Bolt EV and Tesla Model X. Innovative cars that offer more range and an exceptional driving experience.

“We see it year after year; Branchez-Vous events are accelerating the integration of EVs on Quebec roads, allowing consumers, among other things, to decide on a plug-in vehicle adapted to their needs. We are very proud to continue this fifth edition of Branchez-Vous in Gatineau, Lévis and Drummondville”, said François Adam, Eng., CEO of the IVI.
